CONTEST DESCRIPTION
With the İGA ART Art Projects Contest, iGA Istanbul Airport, as a cultural intersection and a major transportation hub, aims to bring together the cultural memory of Anatolia and the identity of Istanbul that is immersed in different cultures and art. İGA ART Art Projects Contest is designed in a structure that employs a transparent and interdisciplinary approach, focuses on the ideas of the artists, and aims to open spaces for young artists.
In line with this objective, it is aimed to integrate the works of artists of every generation in the field of plastic arts in Turkey with the character of Istanbul Airport and Turkey's geography and culture and bring them together with the universal values.
The organization that offers suggestions on the preference of environmentally friendly materials emphasizes the popularization of sustainability culture within the scope of iGA's sustainability policy. The areas where artworks will be displayed at the airport have been specified, and it has been decided to organize an open-call project contest to select the artworks that will be displayed in these areas. The first two stages of the contest composed of more than one different project area are open for artist proposals.

Proposal File
Artists can participate in the contest by submitting the “proposal file” to Istanbul Airport Art Projects within the criteria specified in the application and specification texts.
17 Project Areas
The first two stages of the contest that has 17 different project areas in total are open for artist proposals. The Category - 1 project area in the first stage of the contest is only open to artists under the age of 35. There is no age restriction for the Category - 2 project areas.
Review
The proposed projects and artworks will be reviewed by the jury in two stages, and the results will be announced to the public via the press and accounts with İGA ART extension.

Rewards
The projects of all artists who submit their detailed works by applying to the İGA ART Art Projects Contests will be exhibited and cataloged at Istanbul Airport.
50.000 TL
Project owners who will stay short will be awarded ₺50,000
2.000.000 TL
The grand prize to be given to the creator of the winning project is the royalty fee of ₺2,000,000
